About this Product
Guggal is made from the sap (gum resin) of the Commiphora Mukul tree. Guggal gum resin is used for arthritis, lowering high cholesterol, hardening of the arteries, acne and other skin diseases, and weight loss. Guggal contains a mixture of sterols, steroids, esters, and alcohols with multiple medicinal benefits. Guggal reduces the absorption of fats and cholesterol in the intestine and increases the removal of bile acids and cholesterol. It also reduces the hardening of blood vessels and the stickiness of platelets. Guggal increases the activity of enzymes that break down fats and stimulates the thyroid gland, enhancing iodine uptake and the activity of thyroid enzymes.
