Sarpagandha is used for high blood pressure management. It also used for insomnia, mental disorders. It calms the central nervous system and reduces anxiety, irritability and aggression. The main active constituent in sarpandha is Reserpine which is well known for antipsychotic and anti-hypertensive action.  Sarpagandha mainly works on vata and kapha dosa therefore it is most suitable for individual with vata and kapha dosa.
